About Nerja

Nerja is a town on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga. Nerja and the neighboring villages of Frigiliana, Torrox and Competa part of the region of La Axarquia.

Nerja is known for its beaches near to the town center (Burriana, La Torrecilla, El Salon, Calahonda, Carabeo, Playazo), the Cave of Nerja, the natural parks of the cliffs of Maro and Sierra Almijara, and the popular balcony of Europe.

La Cueva de Nerja, Balcon de Europa, the Church of El Salvador, the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Church of Our Lady of the Wonders, the Aqueduct of the Eagle are the main attractions of Nerja. Among other attractions people enjoy visiting Chanquete's boat from the famous TV series Verano Azul.
